Vancouver Giants sign 2026 fourth-overall pick Jugnauth to WHL Scholarship & Development Agreement
The Vancouver Giants have signed 2011-born forward Brayden Jugnauth, the fourth overall pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft, to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Jugnauth, a 15-year-old from Kelowna, BC, had a standout season in the BCEHL U18 AAA division, leading with 32 goals and 58 points in 34 games. He also helped the Okanagan Rockets win back-to-back U18 championships and tied for second among forwards in scoring at the TELUS Cup National Championship. He is guaranteed a WHL scholarship for each year he plays in the WHL.

The New York Islanders WHL prospect pool features four players, including Vancouver Giants goaltender Burke Hood and Penticton Vees forward Jacob Kvasnicka, a WHL Rookie of the Year finalist.
