Edmonton Marathon screw-up might cost athletes a spot in Boston Marathon

The Edmonton Marathon course was mismeasured, causing runners to cover an extra 1.2 kilometres. As a result, the Boston Athletic Association will not accept adjusted times, potentially costing athletes a qualifying spot for the Boston Marathon.
